Early Life and Education
Heidi Heitkamp was born in Breckenridge, Minnesota, and raised in Town, North Dakota.

Legal and National Career
After graduating from law secondary, Heitkamp worked in private application and served as a Plot Clerk for the North Siouan Supreme Court.
